Appointments

Consultations with any clinician are by appointment only. A standard consultation lasts 15 minutes. If more than one person in your family needs to be seen please ask for an appointment for each of them. Please understand that as illnesses are unpredictable conditions, appointments cannot always run on time.

Making an appointment

An appointment can be made by calling our practice on 8088 7044. An appointment can also be made online by going to our website and clicking on the ‘Book Now’ button at the top of the page and filling in the appropriate details or via the HealthEngine phone application.

Booking a longer appointment

Longer consultations are available, please advise the receptionists if you require extra time.

Walk-in appointments

Walk-in patients will be offered the first available consultation. The offered appointment may require some waiting or may not be on the same day.

After hours and emergencies

After hours clinics are available. To obtain care outside of our opening hours you can present to the Emergency Department at the Broken Hill Health Service – they can be contacted on 8080 1364 or contact ‘000’ for medical emergencies.

Changing or cancelling appointments

Please notify us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend your appointment. You may receive an SMS (text message) to confirm your appointment, if you would prefer not to receive a SMS please advise the practice you wish to opt out.
